We are seeking an Academic Director for our Center at West Point, NY. As an education and training institution, we tailor our products and services worldwide to students and business executives to enhance their leadership skills.
Ph.D. is required.
At Least 6-year of academic experience. Ideal candidates will have “Writing Across the Curriculum” and writing and editorial experience with journals, newsletters as well as other academic publications.
- Good communicator in spoken and written with multicultural vision.
Develop new courses, recruit new instructors and improve ELC course qualities
Provide evaluation and feedback to ELC’s course quality, improving the communication with instructors
Provide and update marketing publicity material, ELC website and material for conference and exhibition
Analyze curricula of ELC competitors and institutes from the same industry
Organize instructors’ monthly activities and seminars
Assist the Executive Director with office management
Apply for patents and intellectual property
Other responsibilities as assigned
The ELC seeks additional faculty members to teach programs. Ideal candidates must be able to teach both day and evening classes including weekends and be committed to assessing student learning outcomes. Candidates must have graduated from USMA at West Point and/or must have taught at the academy. Ideal candidates will have attained the rank of lieutenant colonel or higher and bring extensive business knowledge to our program. BA required, MBA and Ph.D. preferred. Salary commensurate with experience.
